G2 Esports has quickly become one of the top esports organizations in the world with talented rosters across multiple titles. And today, the team has doubled down on its success by signing its League of Legends, Rainbow Six, and Rocket League rosters for another two years. The League of Legends European Championship content team won the Esports Content Team of the Year award and the LoL season opening was named as the Esports Creative Piece of the Year.

Rasmus Borregaard Winther, known as “Caps,” is a 21-year-old Danish League Of Legends player who has been playing under G2 Esports jersey for over two years. Before that, he had played for teams like Fnatic, Dark Passage, and more.

After losing against Rogue in the LEC semifinals, Caps took his official Twitter account to share a new post and expressed his feelings about their performance in this split.

While Caps was saying that he feels so frustrated with his individual performance, he also said that this wasn’t the result they wanted. Afterward, Caps hoped that he can channel this frustration to come back stronger and win the trophy next split.

Here is what Caps said:

“This was not the result we wanted and feeling very frustrated with my own performance.

Hopefully I can channel that to come back stronger and take back the trophy next split.”

Luka Perković, known as “Perkz,” is a 22-year-old Croatian League Of Legends player who had been playing for G2 Esports since June 2015. In his career, he earned over $490.000 from the events that he attended.

Afterward, Perkz took his official Twitter account to share a new post and stated that G2 Esports lives forever in his heart and said that it is time to end this chapter and start to a new one. Also, he revealed that his intention is to dominate the League Of Legends.

Here is the official announcement from G2 Esports:

“After five unforgettable years with G2 Esports, today we say goodbye to our legendary player, Luka “Perkz” Perković.

From our early days in the EUCS Summer 2015 to the 2020 Worlds, Perkz has grown from an Outstanding Rookie into one of the greatest players to ever grace League of Legends.

Time and time again, Perkz has represented everything G2 embodies. Defying the odds, overcoming difficulty, standing tall, win or lose, and always looking to entertain. He is truly a once-in-a-lifetime player and a true G2 Samurai.”

Here is what Perkz said:
